We hope you enjoy the glorious instrumentals of Mark David. (Mark is Melinda's cousin — couldn't be more proud of him!) Born in Yellville, Arkansas, in July of 1961, and raised in Little Rock, Mark David cannot remember a time when making music wasn't a way of life. He began playing guitar at the age of nine, and immediately was drawn to creating and singing original songs. After an active high school life in music, Mark studied classical guitar at Drury College, in Springfield, Missouri for a year and then moved to Nashville for a concentrated study in music at Belmont College. Since launching his own recording and publishing business in 1984, Mark David has enjoyed writing and producing original songs and music for many of JM Associates programs airing in syndication and then on ESPN and espn2. Through the nineties, Mark David developed his talents through video post production as a producer/ editor/ sound designer, and was instrumental in delivering hundreds of television shows to ESPN for programming. More recently Mark David has combined his experience of television production and passion for the craft of the performing songwriter, creating "SpotlightON unique music television"®. This new television series showcases working songwriters and music artists from across the country and abroad who are making a life of their craft.
