Most SEED consultations begin with the SEED Diagnostic to capture current performance and impact, affirm program strengths, and identify areas of unmet potential. The diagnostic results are displayed in a Performance Score Card, like the sample below. For programs that repeat the Diagnostic annually, time-series data are provided to chart progress.

"The SEED Diagnostic is a huge asset for anyone to try. My partner and I both were involved, and our brains started firing. Through the actions we have taken, principals are now coming to us. We are finally in the high school. Now in evening events, we get 50% parent attendance. That is unheard of! Even with the community center…we took a group of kids to volunteer at our Halloween carnival. We had freshmen run their games. Kids ran the program. Now we have an ongoing relationship with the community center. That is what it's all about. Sometimes, you get stuck inside the box. The SEED session helped us break through it."
