PRODUCTS & SERVICES: Seeding the Vision

Journey Mapping  Intention Tracking  The Diagnostic  Speed Planning

WHAT IT DOES: In this half-day facilitated workshop, leadership teams give expression to a clear and expansive vision that serves as a guide for planning and communication, and as a source for inspiration.

HOW IT WORKS: A series of individual and group activities assist participants to collectively stretch their perception of what's possible, draw out new language and imagery, and explore stages of growth. Recommended at the launching of a new program, as well as mid-way through implementation (to rekindle enthusiasm, generate a fuller spectrum of ideas, and refocus elements of future success).

UNIQUE FEATURES: Builds shared understanding and greater clarity around the vision a team holds for its work.

  • Explore together what makes the vision most appealing
  • Discover deep, common imagery that triggers the collective imagination
  • Find common language to describe and speak about the vision with others
  • Gain clarity for how the vision can emerge, stage-by-stage
  • Pinpoint hard and soft expressions of success through which to measure progress

SAMPLE OF USERS: The leadership team of Chicago Youth Programs; Board members from the Fetzer Institute; Board and staff of the Trinity for Excellence in Education Program (Boston); the management team for the Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program (Colorado); the Policy Advocacy and Research Department of the Federation for Protestant Welfare Agencies (New York).
