We have been needing this structure to our fund development plan. Our old system was not as user-friendly or intuitive. This encompasses all aspects of development including information on events, activities, development plans, goals, the tracking of grant application deadlines and reports, and donor cultivation. It will allow us to present to our Board and other stakeholders something that looks more sophisticated than what we normally present. It will make their life easier to raise funds for us. Our Board chair was saying this is what she wanted months and months ago, to keep track of the strategies we are using with people, the contacts and our outcomes. We were doing that on spreadsheets; it was very time-consuming and not a good way to present or share the information.”
