SEED Impact to Thrive Like Never Before

It has been more than 20 years for me with SEED Impact. Throughout this joyful journey, collaborating with many angels (seen and unseen), no doubt I’ve penned hundreds of notes beginning with the words, “I’m thrilled to share…”
I will retire from SEED Impact at the end of this year, and I am thrilled to share that SEED is poised to thrive like never before!
I approach this transition full of gratitude. With thanks to you, nearly every morning over 20 years I’ve felt like a kid at Christmas; bursting to discover the gifts of the workday! Through good times and bad, I’ve been thrilled to:
partner with inspiring nonprofit leaders whose life experiences equip them with insider wisdom essential to create relevant services in their communities
collaborate in dozens of their start-ups
contribute to innovative, accessible programs and systems through which more people are able to realize more of their human potential
engage in most every mission under the sun, with people of most every race, ethnicity, religious, gender and sexual identity, speaking various languages
facilitate dialogue and listen for the magic, the collective wisdom that can only be discovered when different viewpoints are welcomed, encouraged and maximized rather than opposed

Together, with your help, we brought SEED’s approach down to earth from a fuzzy idea to plant deep roots. Our reflection, communication and assessment practices have equipped thousands of nonprofit leaders with what they need to grow their social impact.
On a personal level, I have been astounded to experience such tremendous support: I am ever grateful for the amazing grace of family, friends and colleagues who advise, mentor and walk alongside me, and for the nonprofit founders and leaders who inspire my commitment—angels, all.
I’m thrilled for you to continue to collaborate with the entire SEED team, to be led by Sonja Howden and Tracey Thomas, and for you to experience more of their talents and the ocean of love residing in them.

Sonja and Tracy will assume day-to-day responsibilities as of June. I hope you’ll schedule a meet ‘n greet with them. I will remain at SEED through December, supporting the transition and focusing on special projects. (I plan to continue coaching, independently, next year.)
The team that succeeds me is committed to listening in ways that enable nonprofit leaders to recognize more of the resources they already possess
The SEED team is also extremely skilled at helping to quantify and credibly report the hard-to-measure, life-changing results of community-serving organizations
The team continues to explore and innovate creative ways to meet the moment alongside you
Everyone looks forward to your ongoing engagement and inspiration. They welcome the opportunities and challenges you face, as well as your wisdom and support.
It’s all pretty thrilling!
I hope to connect with you personally before year’s end, to thank you for all you’ve meant to me in this part of our journey together.
My deepest gratitude,
