USING SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING
YOGA PROGRAM
Yoga teachers of color play a critical role in bringing yoga to marginalized communities. At Trinity Connects, young men and women of color are trained to lead free community trainings that complement youth leadership development and mental health programming.
We are so excited to launch this project with SEED Impact. Our trauma-informed approach is rooted in restorative justice principles. The capacity to measure social-emotional learning will be powerful in establishing models proven to work with young people of color.
At Scholarship Plus, we have a simple formula for our 100% college graduation rate: we offer a scholarship PLUS individualized and holistic support to see students through college.
Our scholars, staff and volunteers are more like a family. We are excited to apply this fantastic tool to
1) better support our scholars' social-emotional growth and
2) effectively quantify our impact.
